The time has come, and my new book is out!
WHITE WITCH, DARK MOON!
I love this book (seriously, I love it), and it’s because it’s unique compared to anything else I’ve written. It’s a Choose Your Own Adventure story - but for adults. I’m talking graphic violence, graphic sex, murder and suicide, and it all depends on you, dear reader.

Terrifying!
The really challenging part was remembering what happened in a specific track. Say I put a specific conversation in Chapter 2, branch 3. I need to remember whether or not that happened in the track that leads to chapter 27. I had to go back so many times to carve out this comment or that. That being said, I know that each story track stands on it’s own and I’m really, really, really proud of how it turned out.
Why choose “Choose Your Own Adventure”?
Simply, I loved them as a kid. I was inspired because my little one (who I lovingly refer to as “Spawn”) was old enough that we could start reading them together. I thought to myself, “Why don’t I ever see these for adults?” Turns out, they exist, but they seem all too rare. I wanted to challenge myself to write something different.
What are the Tropes?
Enemies to lovers, first and foremost. The two characters are on opposite sides of the war and even practice opposing types of magic, black vs. white. Not only that, but there is a definite soulmates vibe. Love me some soulmates.
Was this originally a fanfiction?
Yes! 💗 It was posted for only a month, though. I planned from the beginning to make this book mainstream, but my self-inflicted timeline zipped the original fic off of Ao3 all too soon. I know some readers were disappointed, and I’m sorry about that. Forgive me!
While the Reylo vibes remain, I did a lot to pull this into a mythical fantasy world and make it accessible to all readers. I’ve gotten some nice reviews so far, and I’m really excited to see what others have to say.
