SELLING SIMON (take two)
Oof! Here I am again, talking about this beautiful story.
For those of you new to this blog, Selling Simon has had a bit of a journey. It began its life as Reylo Fanfiction, was revamped and picked up for publication, only to have its rights reverted to me after a disconcerting relationship with the publisher.
BUT!!!
BUT!!!
It is now alive and well, nestled under the branch of NixComix Publishing, together with all its brothers and sisters. It’s got a different vibe, sure, but it has that same moral ambiguity you all know and love.
So what’s Selling Simon about? Here’s a blurb:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He’s the virgin—so why is she the one blushing?
Angelica’s tired of turning tricks and ready to buy her way out from under Madam Maxine’s manicured thumb. The price? A hundred grand in three months or… well, death.
Enter Simon, a thirty-year-old virgin with zero game, a resting bitch face, and a heart too soft for his own good. Angelica figures she can use his awkwardness to her advantage—offering to “coach” him in dating for a mere three grand a week (plus room, board, and plausible deniability).
He doesn’t need to know she’s selling him on the side.
But when Simon starts blushing for her, things get messy fast. Especially when she starts blushing back. Falling for the guy you’re conning isn’t smart—but damn if it doesn’t feel good.
Selling Simon is a funny, filthy, and surprisingly tender contemporary romance about two misfits clawing their way out of their shells to be reborn into a new life—and maybe, even find love
Now I illustrated this version of Selling Simon, just as I have for my previous works. I want to make sure every book I put out has some kind of drawing in it, and I’m happy to be able to do this in my latest re-release.
If you haven’t read it, here’s your chance to fall in love with Simon, Angelica, and the rest of the crew.
